About Journal

The Mathematical  Culture and Thought (Farhang va Andishe-ye Riyazi) is a  peer-reviewed Persian-language journal of the Iranian Mathematical Society. Founded in 1982, the journal aims to bring together people with interests in all aspects of the field, and to publicize relevant ideas within the wider research and teaching communities. The main objectives of the journal  are to introduce various branches of mathematical sciences, culture, history, and   philosophy of mathematics at a level that is suitable for students, mathematics teachers, faculty members of mathematical departments of universities and research institutes, and all those  interested   in mathematics. The Mathematical Culture and Thought welcomes all kinds of articles in the fields of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, teaching, learning, and educational problems of mathematics, especially those concerning higher education in Iran, history and philosophy of mathematics, computer science, theoretical physics, and applications of mathematics in other sciences. The Mathematical  Culture and Thought is published in 2 issues (spring and autumn) regularly every year.
