Aims and Scope

The Mathematical Culture and Thought welcomes all kinds of articles in the fields of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, teaching, learning, and educational problems of mathematics (especially those related to higher education in Iran), history and philosophy of mathematics, computer science, theoretical physics, and applications of mathematics in other sciences that are written whithin the following framework.

  • Presenting an up-to-date and prominent topic in mathematics in a format that prepares those interested in research fields to pursue the topic under discussion.
  • Translation of articles of the above type   or translation of classical  articles in mathematics (free translation is not accepted).
  • Providing instructional topics containing notes, theorems, and proofs that are simpler than those found in  classical texts.
  • Review of mathematical journals and books, especially those published in Persian language.
  • Mathematical problems or topics related to the mathematical competitions at the university level.
